Fundraising
For the 7th Annual Walk Through the Vineyards you will again have the opportunity to conduct your own fundraising. When you register, you get a personal fundraising website that you can customize. Send e-mails from your page to friends and family and collect donations for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. We encourage all participants to use the online tools to increase pancreatic cancer awareness and make this walk the most successful to date!
You can win fun incentive prizes for fundraising and we recognize top teams and individuals at the event. Incentive levels are at $100, $250 and $500 this year and prizes are inclusive, so if you raise at least $500, you receive all 3 prizes!

Fundraising Tips & Ideas
- Start a team and invite friends and family to join your team. Many teams are formed in memory of a loved one.
- Set a fundraising goal for yourself or your team.
- As a team leader, encourage your team members to fundraise so the team can reach it’s goal.
- Personalize your page with a photo and story about how pancreatic cancer has touched your life. You can see an example with Michelle Monhart’s personal donation page.
- Add some pancreatic cancer facts to your page to help educate potential donors.
- If you feel uncomfortable asking for a donation, use the email feature to invite others to the event or just help to create awareness of pancreatic cancer. Raising awareness in our community is very important!
Matching Gifts
Many employers will match your personal donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Check with your company for more information about their matching gift program and ask your donors to do the same. We are a 501 c (3), nonprofit, Federal ID #33-0841281.
